This upcoming Nike Dunk Low, like the “Rainbow Trout” colourway , also derives its visual story from the fishing traditions of Nike’s home state of Oregon.
Inspired by the King Salmon, this Dunk Low sports a white nylon foundational layer overlaid with suede at the toe, eye rows and wrapping the heel. Iridescent, scaled patterned Swooshes adorn the lateral and medial sides. An additional iridescent overlay is present on the rear heel ocean bliss present on the rear heel and tongue. As was the case with the “Rainbow Trout” Dunk, these also see fish-motif Nike branding on the tongue and the insole.
Underneath resides a alabaster midsole and silver rubber outsole.
The “Chinook Salmon” Nike Dunk Low is scheduled to debut June 16 at nike.com and select retail establishemts; they will carry a 110 USD sticker price.
